In June 2017 ADC_ successfully acquired one of Western Australia’s most significant heritage assets, the former Perth Girls’ School located high on the hill at 2 Wellington Street, East Perth. The 1.8 hectare development area also includes the site directly behind the old school fronting Bronte, Plain and Wickham Streets.

 The spectacular site is the second highest point in the CBD after Kings Park, with panoramic views of the city, Swan River and Darling Scarp. In June 2020 the Perth Girls School Precinct design guidelines were adopted by the Western Australian Government, paving the way for staged development of the site in the years to come.

 In June 2022 DevelopmentWA approved ADC’s application for the redevelopment of the precinct which includes 500 Build to Rent apartments, 242 Build to Sell apartments, full line supermarket, commercial brewery, cultural, entertainment and commercial accommodation. Construction is anticipated to commence in 2024.
